Ooh got them today....speedy. Much better than Proline. It also worried me a little that I was quite excited to have new wheels and bearings.... :?

I've just got new bearing as well.

Got them for $90 instead of $324 (bargain) :D

I haven't heard Mark called Mook in ages. takes me back.

Bearing conversations can go on forever but I still think that there is no difference between decathlon ones and bones red other then the price. Perhaps we need to confirm this with a roll test!

Roll tests wont tell you much usefull, the best way i can think of is to roll with a mix.
ie: different bearings in the same wheel.

Then and after 6 months change them so the reds are all in your left skate and the other in the right.
And see how significant the difference is.

There are a few flaws in this such as distributed weight across the bearings in the wheel, but i suspect having the same bearings in different wheels would introduce greater error.

Although it might work with obsessive wheel rotation.
