We skate in and around Nottingham

The NottinghamSkaters Saturday Session

Session details

During the summer (April - September) the Saturday Session is outdoors on The National College car park. The session starts at 1:30pm and is free.

The car park is near the University of Nottingham Jubilee Campus, off Triumph Road. It's practically in the shadow of Aspire, the big, red ice-cream shaped sculpture. Detailed information can be seen on a larger map right here

In Autumn (October to December) we can be found on Cripps car park on the University Of Nottingham Main Campus site. Check the forum for more information.

When winter arrives (December to March) we can be found indoor in a nice warm and smooth sports hall in or around the city. Check the forum for more information.

About The Session

There is a NottinghamSkaters meetup every Saturday afternoon! The Saturday Session is open to any skater, any age: beginner, intermediate or expert; student, local or old school; inline, quaddie or biskateual.

Come along and join us for freestyle, roller sports, games, socialising or just to practice your skate skills.

There is no minimum skill requirement for The Saturday Session.

As part of the Saturday Session, we head out on The Saturday Stroll: a very slow-paced, short street skate. This is great practice for street skating and a testing ground for the Tuesday Night Skate.

If you want to learn how to skate, see contact Skate Focus.

Please note that The NottinghamSkaters have no hire skates, so you will need your own. See here if you plan to buy a pair before attending. We also recommend full protective gear, especially if you're trying something new.

See the other posts in this sub-forum as to when and where we'll be this Saturday!
